Vintage Travel in Time
We're about bringing you into actual tangible contact with almost any particular day in the past century or so. No, we have no time machine, but we do have authentic vintage paper items with origin on known specific dates in the past. These dates are highly trustworthy and sometimes show the time of day as well, and not only that, many have a mandala-like quality and are pretty to look at. What are these, you may ask? They are postmarks from long-ago mail, usually tied to colorful stamps which were designed by their engravers as miniature works of art. Genuine, from a precisely known time, and many are downright beautiful to look at--what's more to ask?
The delight of touching the past in this way can be part of your family heritage scrapbooking or home crafts. It can also be a neat way of using an iPad or other portable device to give friends and bystanders a preview of what a local crafter could do with the original, and earn a bit of pocket money while doing it.
